Jason graduated from the University of Southern California in 2007 with degree in Real Estate Finance and after graduating worked in New York within banking & capital markets for PricewaterhouseCoopers where he earned his CPA. In 2015 he founded SLP Colorado in an effort to help people in a more residential setting than some of the larger assisted living communities he had developed. The most rewarding part of his job spending time in the communities helping residents achieve their goals. Jason is married and lives with his wife Erin and son Ryder in Denver. He enjoys the access to the outdoors that Colorado offers his family and the SLP Colorado communities including skiing, hiking, golfing, and fishing.
Danyelle came to SLP Colorado with 20 years of experience in the healthcare/social service field and has a BA in Business Administration with a Specialization in Project Management. She started her career working in a nursing home. Danyelle began as a receptionist and worked her way up to Business Office Manager. She has developed and directed 15 group homes for individuals with disabilities and managed 50+ staff throughout the state of New Jersey. Most recently Danyelle managed a team of Program Coordinators which were responsible for 250+ individuals accuracy of treatment plans, ensuring Medicaid authorizations were accurate/received timely, coordinate/facilitated interdisciplinary team meetings, and facilitated admissions from referral through admission.
Martissa Spencer centers her professional accounting efforts on the thoughtful connection between employee relationships, resident & guardian expectations and accounting functions to support the best-in-class services offered by SLP Colorado. Her passion isn’t numbers, but people, and how to use quality accounting services as a powerful tool to provide value to people’s lives. Her skills in accounting, grassroots organizing, team building, and writing find a great fit in the healthcare industry. Martissa started her accounting career with Coopers and Lybrand after completing both her Bachelor of Science and a Master's Degree of Accountancy and Information Systems at Brigham Young University. She was the Arthur H. Carter scholarship recipient for her graduate program. Her previous accounting experience includes clients in the hospitality, retail and high-tech industries. Martissa lives with her husband, Michael, and their four children in Lakewood Colorado. When she isn’t creating cool spreadsheets or organizing financial data, Martissa loves travel adventures with her family, hiking to waterfalls, baking bread, reading fanfiction, or soaking in one of Colorado’s many natural hot springs.
